Welcome to our corner of the internet! We're Josh and Taylor, the husband-and-wife duo behind JTR Media, and we’re so excited to share our story with you. What started as a passion project has become our full-time career, and we couldn’t be more grateful to spend our days creating timeless memories for couples, families, and clients across Pennsylvania, Florida, and beyond.
How Photography & Videography Became Our Passion
Our journey began in 2015 when we packed up our lives in Central Pennsylvania and headed south to Orlando, Florida. Just a week after getting married, we took a leap of faith and started a new chapter. Fueled by our shared love for storytelling and travel, we found ourselves capturing everyday moments on iPhones and Josh’s DSLR. But before long, we realized we wanted more than just casual snapshots—we wanted to document life in a meaningful, artistic way.
That Christmas, we bought our first mirrorless camera, and everything changed. Josh discovered a deep passion for videography through editing travel videos and capturing b-roll, while Taylor fell in love with the art of photography—paying close attention to composition, light, and emotion. From then on, every moment behind the lens became a new opportunity to create something lasting.
The Birth of JTR Media
When we officially founded JTR Media in 2019, we chose a name that felt personal and authentic. “J” for Josh, “T” for Taylor, and “R” for Rippey—our last name. “Media” encompasses the heart of what we do: both photography and videography, working together in harmony to tell your story.
Since launching, we’ve grown from photographing vacation memories in Orlando to capturing weddings, engagements, and family milestones across the East Coast and internationally. Through it all, our mission has stayed the same: creating timeless memories that feel true to who you are.
